26 July 2018
Webinar English
COPRA WireRolling, COPRA RF, COPRA FEA RF
Organizer: data M Sheet Metal Solutions GmbH

Webinar WE32:

July 26th, 2018 (ca. 30 minutes)

This webinar will focus on our COPRA® RF WireRolling software solution specially designed for roll forming of wire profiles.

We show you how our solution enables you to map the complete work process from design to the virtual set-up of the tool set. The following workflow illustrates how possible design errors can be detected at an early stage and how complex commissioning can be avoided:

  • Design of the forming stages
  • Calculation of the forming stages
  • Roll tool design
  • FEA simulation and analysis

NEWS:
The new functions "Tension in Wire" and "Annealing Station Definition" will also be presented during the webinar, including:

  • Adjusting the remesh settings in the individual stations
  • Application of a defined tension force in rolling direction
  • Definition of stations according to which the material is annealed
  • The current settings for material, grid and process parameters can be accessed at any time
  • Display of stresses and strains also in rolling direction

16 September 2018 - 19 September 2018
Conference
Organizer: Metal Forming 2018

17th International Conference on Metal Forming

24 September 2018 - 25 September 2018
Conference
Organizer: Deakin University
Location: Geelong / Australia

at Deakin University in Geelong / Australia, 24-25 September 2018

After more than 15 years of research and development in the field of flexible roll forming data M developed, patented and manufactured the 3D RollForming Center®. The facility enables proof of concept studies on the flexible roll forming process, rapid prototyping and the low volume manufacture of complex profiles from hard to form materials. With the 3D RollForming Center® multidimensional roll forming becomes reality.

Following the launch of this new and innovative concept at the Institute For Frontier Materials der Deakin University (Geelong, Australia), the Roll Forming Industry Collaborative Conference RFICC 2018 provides an opportunity for speakers from universities and industry to share their knowledge and expertise and discuss ways to tackle some of the current and future challenges faced by the Australian and the international roll forming industry. This will include both short technical contributions and reviews from Australian and overseas leaders on the strategic goals facing the industry.
