data M in dialogue with Thorsten Schäfer-Gümbel (vice chairman of the SPD)

In July data M staff was very delighted to receive distinguished visitors from politics:
Together with the vice chairman of the SPD, Thorsten Schäfer-Gümbel, SPD Bundestag candidate Hannes Gräbner, Walter Sedlmayer (electoral district chair of the SPD) and Richard Hillmeier (district chapter chair of the SPD) visited roll form specialist in Valley.

Managing director Max Sedlmaier outlined the development and strategy through which the company since its founding in 1987 has grown to be a global player with a market share of 80% in its niche market today.

This success is based on the data M’s innovative strength which is driven by just over two dozen highly qualified employees – a topic which the SPD-politician is particularly interested in. “The SPD has always been a party of progress. We are the ones that shape the future in Germany. But for this we need to inspire the people. We need to continue training their skills so they are not afraid of the future“, so Thorsten Schäfer-Gümbel.

With his presentation on “process development, automatization and digitalization in an industry 4.0 environment” head of research Dr. Thomas Dietl proves data M’s enthusiasm for future-oriented technologies. As innovation driver the company uses the digital transformation for setting new impulses in the area of roll forming and for addressing global challenges in a sustainable way.

Together with the data M staff the SPD-politicians also discussed requirements for future professional profiles, research and development funding, internationalization as well as the local transport connections.
